Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Dough ("the Service"), operated by Dough AI, LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Dough is a digital gifting platform that allows users to create and send animated e-cards accompanied by monetary gifts. Senders pay for gifts via third-party payment processors. Recipients may claim gifted funds to a Dough Wallet or request a cash-out through supported payout partners.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age and a resident of the United States to use the Service. By using Dough, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

4. Payments, Fees, and Refunds

All payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. By making a payment through Dough, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service. Dough AI, LLC is not responsible for payment processing errors or failures attributable to Stripe. Gift amounts are denominated in US dollars. We may charge service fees, which will be disclosed at the time of purchase.

All sales are final. No refunds. Once a gift is sent, it belongs to the recipient. We don't take gifts back — that would be weird, and frankly, a little rude.

5. Dough Wallet

Funds saved to a Dough Wallet are held by Dough AI, LLC on your behalf. Wallet balances are not FDIC-insured. Dough AI, LLC reserves the right to impose limits on wallet balances and to suspend wallet access for accounts suspected of fraud or abuse. Unclaimed gift funds may be subject to state unclaimed property laws after a period of inactivity.

6. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Facilitate fraud, money laundering, or any illegal activity
  • Harass, threaten, or harm any individual
  • Send unsolicited bulk messages or spam
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations

7. Intellectual Property

The Dough name, logo, and all related content are the intellectual property of Dough AI, LLC. GIF content is sourced from third-party providers and subject to their respective terms. AI-generated gift messages are provided for personal use only.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. DOUGH AI, LLC DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE. USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DOUGH AI, LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE 30 DAYS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Delaware.
